Is good external link for SEO? Currently, quite a lot of friends bloggers who are afraid to install external link on the article for fear it will damage the external link optimization of the blog. So I will try to discuss this from my perspective ....

Actually I've discussed this in the article What is external links and influence on SEO. It just popped up a few questions from the article, so I had to make this additional discussion ..... (so do not forget to read the above article .... if you have not read it)
The question that is often asked is ....
What is the authoritative website in external links?
Simply like this ... sites or web pages that authority is reputable world, or at least national. So these are sites that are often referred to when discussing the topic, without the need to refer to the site itself ....
If wikipedia is not necessary to be discussed. I want to show an example of wider application. Suppose you discuss the issue of independent banks, it is certainly very good to put a link of an independent bank that contains a statement.
Similarly, when you discuss the issue of celebrity cases it is worth quoting facebook or twitter page containing the personal statement of the celebrities.
But if you are still confused, then you can do the Googling just by entering short keywords on the topic you discussed .... And notice what sites displayed by Google. This at least ensures the relevance of that page as your external links. But if the page was higher authority? Yes please see whether the site is crowded and enough focus on discussing the issue.
Link Exit or External Link Will Reduce Points page?
Of course not at all. You do not need to worry that the link points out it will reduce your page. Because your page points obtained from the characteristics of incoming links and not the characteristics of outgoing links.
If you want to know or else less work (^ _ ^), then you can read it in what it is and how to calculate pagerank. But most people do not understand well what is discussed there.
So you need not worry about your points decreasing, but increasing points of your competitors. But if you consider your competitors are too strong, like wikipedia .... and become a champion 2 alone is good enough for you (actually the first champion is not impossible at all) then you can attach external links to the site of the higher authority ....
It will make you get extra points for your own page because Google considers these pages provide EXTERNAL LINK highly qualified for the visitors. Google will also notice that you are supporting a web page that also "liked" by Google.
So hopefully authoritative picture of the site that is clear enough. But it should be considered carefully whether it will make the competition more severe for you or even more pronounced gain points ....
